Fashion Nugget is the second studio album by Cake, an alternative rock band from Sacramento, California. It was released in 1996, and contains 14 songs. "The Distance" became one of the band's biggest hits. On December 9, 1996, the album was certified gold by the RIAA, and the next year, the album was certified platinum for shipments of one million copies.[6]

In the United States, the album received a Parental Advisory sticker for profanity in the songs "Nugget" and "I Will Survive," a cover of the Gloria Gaynor song that originally did not have any profanity.
