Islander 23 also known as I-23 is a Pacific Islander street gang in West Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Islander 23 came to prominence in the national media after a large scale brawl in Melbourne's Central Business District between it and the rival gang Apex in March 2016 after the Moomba parade.[3][4][5][6] It consists largely of youths from a South Pacific background.[7]
