Iseabail Macleod

Iseabail Macleod MBE (27 May 1936 in Dalmuir – 15 February 2018 in Edinburgh[1]) was a Scottish lexicographer. Iseabail Macleod was Editorial Director of the Scottish National Dictionary Association from 1986 to 2002. She received an MBE for services to Scottish dictionaries in the 2001 New Year Honours[2] and was an Honorary Fellow of the Association for Scottish Literary Studies.[3] Dying on 15 February 2018, she was cremated on 5 March.[4]
