Irshad Mirza is an Indian industrialist and the executive chairman of Mirza International group of companies.[1][2] He is a former chairman of the Uttar Pradesh State Minority Commission.[3] An alumnus of the Aligarh Muslim University,[4] he is a former member of the University Court.[5] He is the founder of Mirza Foundation,[6] a charitable organization and is involved in social welfare activities.[7] The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2010, for his contributions to trade and industry.[8]
