Irreligion in Kenya
Irreligion in Kenya is uncommon among Kenyans, as Christianity is the predominant faith. Only 0.4% of Kenyans claim no religion.[2][3][4] Atheism is greatly stigmatized in Kenya.[5][6]
Harrison Mumia set up one of the first atheist group in Kenya and was denied the right to be recognized officially by the government.[7][8][9]
