Intipucá is a municipality in the La Unión department of El Salvador.
Etymology
Intipucá is a cognate of Intibucá of neighboring Honduras, an alternate spelling of the same term in Lenca language. However, due to historical savagery, indigenous are neither recognized nor self identified in El Salvador.[1]
