Inside Out is a studio album by Philip Bailey which was released in 1986 by Columbia Records. The album got to No. 30 on the Top Soul Albums chart.[1][2]

Overview

Off the album the single State of the Heart got to No. 20 on the Billboard Hot Soul Songs chart.[3]

The music video for State of the Heart was released in 1986. As well it featured artistes like Kenny Gradney and Richie Hayward of Little Feat, Ricky Phillips of The Babys and keyboardist Steven Ameche.[4]
