Inkstone News
In March 2018, the South China Morning Post launched a new platform called Inkstone News, as a website and app. Using a Java-heavy interface, it provides "a daily multimedia look at what’s happening in China”[1], with "six stories every weekday at 6:00am (ET)",[2] catering to young people and readers in the United States, its largest market.[3]
Its remit is to convince overseas readers that SCMP is a source of reliable journalism about China rather than just another Chinese state news media outlet.[3]
