Ink & Paint is an upcoming American documentary web television series set to premiere on the forthcoming Disney streaming service.

Premise

Ink & Paint is set to take a look at "a number of women who made many of the Disney animated classics possible with little or no recognition for their work."[1]

Production

On October 2, 2018, it was announced that Disney had given the production a series order consisting of eight episodes with the intention of distributing it through their upcoming streaming service. The series was set to be produced by ABC Studios through their new alternative division in association with Sertner Productions. At the time of the announcement, the production had recently conducted an interview at the Ink & Paint building on the Disney lot with 108-year-old former Disney animator Ruthie Thompson.[1]
