Ingvar Oskar Daniel Berg (10 October 1905 – 2 July 1993) was a Swedish military commander and modern pentathlete who finished fourth at the 1928 Summer Olympics.[1][2]
In 1926 Berg became an artillery officer and in 1936 a lieutenant in the Swedish Air Force. Between 1943 and 1945 he served as the head of a newly formed Swedish Air Force Squadron Leader School (Flygvapnets bomb- och skjutskola) and after that took various leading positions at the Air Force. From 1966 to 1967 he headed the UN monitoring mission in Korea.[3]
