Information therapy

Information therapy is the use of information in order to meet patients' needs and assist them in making decisions regarding their health.

Studies show that this type of therapy can reduce the cost of healthcare by decreasing the use of healthcare resources, [1] and it can improve the knowledge and medical decision making abilities of patients.[2]
