Indiana Free Library

Indiana Free Library is located in the middle of the town on Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania. It was originally located in a reading room starting in 1908[1] in a building not that far from where it is now. The building it is in presently was built in 1912 but before it was a library it was a YMCA during the 1920s and 1930s. It has served as a suitable library for the small town of Indiana which also is home to IUP which has a library itself very close to the Indiana Free. On May 16, 2007, it celebrated its 100th year of having a public library in Indiana, PA. It is a member of the Pennsylvania library system.
