Inari Station (稲荷駅 Inari Eki) is a railway station on the Nara Line of West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It is in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan.
The station number is JR-D03. At the nearest station to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, the New Year day is a temporary stop for the transport of visitors to the shrine. In 2015, a part of Miyakoji Rapid was temporarily stopped for multi-guest correspondence in autumn holiday season.
Layout
It is a ground station with two lines relative to home 2-sided. Because it is in the curved part, the home curves.
The station is on the bus stop No. 2, the other side is in contact with the stairs and elevator to the bus stop. It has a station building of concrete that was completed in 1935. There is also the nearest station of Fushimi Inari Taisha, the pillar of the station is painted in some vermilion. Near the station
Inari Station serves visitors to several nearby sites. Among these are the major Shinto shrine Fushimi Inari-taisha and the Fukakusa campus of Ryukoku University. Although transfer is not available, Fukakusa and Fushimi-Inari Stations on the Keihan Main Line are close by. Students and staff members can access Ritsumeikan Junior & Senior High School and Kyoto Municipal Fushimi Technical High School (the setting of School Wars: HERO) from Inari Station.
