In the Name of Allah is the debut studio album by English Nasheed singer Kamal Uddin, released in August 2005 by Noor Media.

Composition and release

After being inspired by performing Hajj in January 2005, Uddin began to compose his own lyrics for his first album. In the Name of Allah was released by Noor Media in August 2005.[1][2]

The album features recitations of the Qur’an and instructions of how to pray Salah as well as non-instrumental Islamic nasheeds about Allah and the Islamic prophet Muhammad based on the Qur’an and Hadith.[2]
