The Immanuel Presbyterian Church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.[2] Additionally, it was designated a landmark by the Milwaukee Landmarks Commission in 1969.[3]

It was designed in High Victorian Gothic style by architect Edward Townsend Mix.
