Image+Nation
Image+Nation is an annual film festival, which takes place in Montreal, Quebec.[1] Held in November each year, the festival is dedicated to LGBTQ film.[2]
Launched in 1987,[3] the event is Canada's oldest LGBT film festival.[4]
The 30th anniversary of Image + Nation festival took place in 2017 with 120 features, documentaries, shorts and queer favourites. Venues were: the Imperial Theatre, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Concordia’s J.A. de Sève Cinema, the Phi Centre and the Cinémathèque québécoise. Programming Director: Katharine Setzer. Executive Director: Charlie Boudreau.[5]
