Illiyin

Illiyin or Illiyun (Arabic: عِلِّيِّين‎ plural of ulayy, "properly" or "high places") is a Quranic term used in surah Al-Mutaffifin verse 18 which refers to the highest levels of Jannah[1] or a scroll, that lists the names of the believers.[2] According to some Shia traditions, the Ahl al-Bayt were created from the earths of the heavenly plane "Illiyin".[3] The antithesis of Illiyin is Sijjin.
