Igor Jovović (born 16 October 1982) is a Montenegrin professional basketball coach. He is currently serving as the head coach of a German club, Mitteldeutscher BC.[1][2]
Career
Jovović started as an assistant coach for Budućnost Podgorica of the ABA League under Dejan Radonjić in 2007. In 2013, he was appointed as the head coach of Budućnost until 2015. Jovović took Budućnost to the semifinals in the 2014–15, 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons.
In the summer of 2015 he was appointed as the new head coach of the new ABA League team from Nikšić, Montenegro, KK Sutjeska.
Since 19 May 2016 he has coached Basketball Bundesliga team Mitteldeutscher BC under a three-year contract.
