Idionyx rhinoceroides[2] is a species of dragonfly in the family Corduliidae. It is known only from a single female collected from type locality (Dhoni, Palakkad, Kerala) in the Western Ghats of India.[3] Idionyx species are difficult to capture, and generally impossible to identify without capture; so there has been a lack of expert sampling.[1][4]
This species can be easily distinguished from all other species by the unique shape of its vesicle.[4]
