"I Know" is a 1995 song recorded by American R&B singer Dionne Farris. It was the first single from her debut album Wild Seed, Wild Flower and was released in March 1995. It was a hit in her native US (number four on the Billboard Hot 100), and also achieved moderate success in New Zealand and Europe. Radio & Records magazine ranked "I Know" as the number-one most played song on mainstream Top 40/CHR radio stations for 1995, spending nine weeks atop the chart, nineteen in the top 10 alone, and eight months on the chart altogether.
The song also spent 10 consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart (April 1–June 3, 1995) and twenty-nine overall.[1] It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1996.
