IPolitics
iPolitics is a Canadian digital newspaper, which covers stories in Canadian politics.[1] Similar in scope and format to the American publication Politico, the site was launched in 2010 by editor James Baxter and offers daily coverage of political news, a quarterly print magazine, political analysis podcasts and specialized parliamentary monitoring services.[2]
Writers for the site include Anna Desmarais, Catharine Fulton, Charlie Pinkerton, Holly Lake, James Gragg-Reilly, Kady O'Malley, Kathryn May, Kelsey Johnson, Kirsten Smith, Kyle Duggan, Marieke Walsh, Matthew Usherwood and Peter Robb.
In September 2018, the site was acquired by Torstar as a complement to its existing news titles, including the Toronto Star newspaper and the similar Ontario political news site QP Briefing.[3]
