Integris Health Edmond (IHE) opened October 3, 2011 in Edmond, Oklahoma.[1] IHE offers comprehensive medical and surgical services to Oklahoma, Logan, and Lincoln counties. Integris Health Edmond is the only Oklahoma-owned, not-for-profit hospital in Edmond and accredited through the Joint Commission.[2]

Location

IHE is located on 45 acres in northeast Oklahoma county's forested land, between 2nd and 15th street on the east side of I-35 in the ever growing community of Edmond, Oklahoma.[3] The hospital was designed to grow with the surrounding healthcare needs of the area. Located on one of the major US highways, the hospital has entrances on the frontage road and on 15th street just east of I-35.

Medical services

Health Edmond's campus consists of a full service hospital with 40 inpatient beds and a medical office building. Facilities include a Level III emergency department, and an intensive care unit.

Outpatient rehabilitation

Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation offers a variety of services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology.[4]

  • 2012
    • Certified Health Oklahoma, Excellent Business Award. This is awarded to institutions that provide health and wellness opportunities and are working to improve the health status of Oklahomans.[5]
  • 2013
    • Quality Respiratory Care Recognition presented by American Association for Respiratory Care. This award identifies facilities that use qualified respiratory therapist while maintaining the guidelines set forth by the governing agency. INTEGRIS Health Edmond is in the 15th percentile of hospitals who received this award for 2013.[6]
    • Voluntary Hospitals of America (VHA) Regional High Performance Award for Emergency Department in Length of Stay and Left Without Being Seen Rate
    • VHA Regional Patient Safety Award for Clinical Excellence in Prevention of Complications, catheter associated blood stream infections
    • Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for Physician Partnership. Press Ganey is an organization dedicated to making the patient's experience in a healthcare system better and allowing them to have a voice in how they are treated within a healthcare system.[7]
