IDLC Asset Management Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of IDLC Finance Limited[3][4] with headquarters in Dhaka,Bangladesh. It offers asset management[5] services which currently consists of Mutual Funds offered to individuals and institutions.[6][7]

History

IDLC Asset Management Limited was incorporated on 19 November 2015 with an authorized capital of BDT 250,000,000. The company then applied to Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) for issuance of registration certificate to operate as an asset manager as per Securities and Exchange Commission (Mutual Fund) Regulation, 2001.[1] The company obtained the asset management license on June 7, 2016[8] with a paid-up capital of BDT 100,000,000.[6]

IDLC Balanced Fund

IDLC Asset Management Limited started its first open ended Mutual Fund, named IDLC Balanced Fund, on the 30th of May, 2017.[9][10][11] The prospectus for its first formal service of an Open End Mutual Fund was approved on the 16th of May, 2017.[12][13]
