The I-Shou International School, a bilingual school, is located next to E-Da World and I-Shou University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It begins with pre-school, proceeds to primary, continues on to junior high, advances to high school; and is finalized by a complete university system. I-Shou International School is the first school in Taiwan that is authorized [1]to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP) and the IB Diploma Program (DP) for Taiwanese students. IShou International School offers two different learning options in the secondary school. One option is the Secondary Bilingual Department, mainly taught in Chinese, for students preparing for local university entrance. The other option is the International Secondary Department, mainly taught in English, primarily for students preparing for study at universities overseas. In 2015, the school was accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS).
