Hypericum abilianum is a shrub in the genus Hypericum, in the section Adenosepalum.[2]
Description
The species is a subshrub 40 centimeters tall with orange stems.[3] It has 3-5 flowers that are approximately 3 centimeters in diameter. Its petals are yellow and are about 4 millimeters in length.[4]
Distribution
Specimens have only been found in Angola, but no conclusive distribution data has been found.[5] The single cataloged specimen was gathered in the Huíla Province in 1960 by E.J. Mendes.[6]
