Hyperborea is a monotypic genus of tiger moths in the family Erebidae. The females are brachypterous (have reduced wings). The genus contains only one species, Hyperborea czekanowskii, which is found in the Russian Far East (Nzhnyaya Tunguska river, northern Yakutia, Kolyma river, Koryakia, Chukotka, Wrangel Island, Kamchatka, Stanovoi, Udokan) and Alaska.[1]
