Hydnocarpus anthelminticus[2] is a species of flowering plant in the family Achariaceae. Originally found in Indochina, this species is now also cultivated in southern China.[3]

Medicinal uses

The Vietnamese name for H. anthelmiticus is lọ nồi (sometimes Ðại phong tử). It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it has the name dà fēng zǐ ().
