Hyarias is a genus of tiger moths in the family Erebidae. The genus contains only one species, Hyarias metarhoda, described by Francis Walker in 1856, which is strictly endemic for the Philippines.
Taxonomy
This species was previously included in Spilosoma, but those species have quite different male genitalia.[1]
