Hutch Maiava (born 26 October 1976 in Auckland) is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles. Maiva's position of choice is at prop.

Playing career

A Pt Chev Pirates junior, Maiva has played in the NRL for the Bulldogs, and the Cronulla Sharks.[2] Hutch Maiva used to play for Hull F.C. in the Super League but was released from his contract early due to gross misconduct.[3] He has been linked with a move to Castleford Tigers. He is a Samoan international.[4] He was named in the Samoa training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[5] Maiava currently plays for NSW Sydney Shield side The Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles.[6]
