Humanix Books is a book publisher that focuses on health, personal finance, business, self-help, and political topics.

The company, originally called Humanics, was founded and has been continuously publishing since 1969, making it one of the oldest publishing houses in Southeastern United States.

Initially based in Georgia, the first titles were developed in response to the need from the education community for quality classroom materials to support parents as the prime educators of their children.

In the mid-1980s, Humanix expanded its focus to include titles specializing in personal development, philosophy, and management. Moving into the 21st century, the range of topics now includes health, religion, science, finance and politics. It published the best-selling book, The Tao of Leadership, by John Heider.

In 2012 the company was acquired by Newsmax Media, Inc., a private multimedia company, rebranded to the name Humanix Books and relocated to Boca Raton, Florida.

In 2012, the re-branded company published its first title, The ObamaCare Survival Guide,[1] by Nick J. Tate.[2] The book quickly became a number one New York Times Best Seller in the Advice, How-To & Misc. category for paperback books.[3] The company has sold more than 500,000 copies of the ObamaCare Survival Guide.

In 2013, Anthony Ziccardi, former vice president and associate publisher of Simon & Schuster, joined Humanix as publisher.[4]

Humanix Books operates the website, humanixbooks.com, and publishes approximately 8-10 new titles per year, still largely focused on the self-help and personal development genres.

Humanix Books authors include financial experts Andrew Packer and Bill Spetrino, acclaimed cardiologist Dr. Chauncey Crandall, healthcare writer and specialist Nick J. Tate, Dr. Erika Schwartz,[5] Charlotte Libov, Dr. Gary Small, and Dr. Russell L. Blaylock.[6][7]

Former Clinton advisor and political commentator, Dick Morris,[8] has signed with Humanix for an upcoming book on the Obama administration due out in the fall of 2014.
