Hugo Messer (born in 1978) is a Dutch entrepreneur, distributed agile team specialist and author. He has been building and managing teams around the world for many years. Hugo is the founder and owner of Bridge Global, a global software services provider, and ekipa.co., an agile coaching agency.[1] He wrote a number of books focused on managing remote teams and agile software development.[2]

Hugo pursued MBA in Information Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He was so passionate to start his own company since his childhood. On 1 May 2005, Hugo started Bridge Global in Amsterdam. Hugo is a Certified Scrum Professional(CSP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). In 2008, he opened partner offices in Ukraine and Moldova. On 9 May 2008, Hugo started the corporate office of Bridge Global in Kochi, India[3][4]

Career and works

Hugo wrote six books about managing distributed teams. He is a regular speaker at agile conferences happening across the world.[5][6] In 2015, he started Ekipa.co as an online platform to help organisations find international software teams to build their software quickly. Later in 2017, Ekipa.co started as a registered agile training and coaching agency in Indonesia.[7][8]
