Huangzhou, Xinhuang

Huangzhou Town (Chinese: 晃州镇; pinyin: Huǎngzhōu Zhèn) is a town and the county seat of Xinhuang Dong Autonomous County in Hunan, China. The town is located in the northwest of the county, it was reformed to merge Xinlong Town (Chinese: 兴隆镇), Fangjiatun Township (Chinese: 方家屯乡), Dawanluo Township (Chinese: 大湾罗乡) and the Huangzhou Town on November 19, 2015, it has an area of 203.17 km2 (78.44 sq mi) with a population of 75,600 (as of 2015 end). The seat of local government is at Dadongping Village.(Chinese: 大洞坪村)[1]
