Huỳnh Trấn Thành (born 5 February 1987), known mononymously as Trấn Thành, is a Vietnamese comedian, actor, and television presenter. He has appeared in many television programs and game shows.

Life and career

Huỳnh Trấn Thành was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, his father is of Chinese descent and his mother was born in Tiền Giang. He can speak Vietnamese, Cantonese and English. He graduated from Cinematography School but is known more as MC. He won the 3rd prize for the 2006 TV show competition. He successfully demonstrated the versatility and comedy in leading the program such as: Say It Out (a program for foreigners to learn the Vietnamese language)[1], Cau Vong Nghe Thuat, Thu Thach Cung Buoc Nhay, Gala Cuoi 2011, Liveshow Quang Le: Hat Tren Que Huong.

He can be able to mimic many voices; such as Lam Truong, Duy Manh, Thanh Lam, Hong Ngoc, Viet Anh, Thanh Loc, Viet Huong, Minh Nhi, Trung Dan va Le Thuy. Thank to this talent, he easily works for voice over in many animations such as Soc Chuot Sieu Quay 3, Madagascar 3: Than Tuong Chau Au, Ke Cap Mat Trang 2 and Turbo: Tay Dua Sieu Toc.

In May 2016, he was fined 32,5 million VND for playing comedy To Anh Nguyet Remix (generated from To Anh Nguyet by Tran Huu Trang) in Paris By Night 116 show.

Personal life

He married Vietnamese-Korean singer and actress Hari Won on December 25, 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City.
