Howard Joseph Hancock (December 20, 1894 – February 1978)[2][3] was an American football and baseball caoch. He was the 12th head football coach at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, serving for 14 seasons, from 1931 until 1944, and compiling a record of 57–45–19.[4]
Including his records from other schools, Hancock leads college football with the highest tie percentage in varsity play.[5][6]
