The House of Peoples' Representatives (Amharic: የሕዝብ ተወካዮች ምክር ቤት, yehizb tewekayoch mekir bet) is the lower chamber of the Ethiopian Federal Parliamentary Assembly, the House of Federation being the upper chamber. Together they comprise the legislature of Ethiopia. The House has 547 members (22 seats are reserved for representatives of minority nationalities and peoples), elected for five-year terms in single-seat constituencies.
