Hossein Amiri

Hossein Amiri (born January 29, 1972 in Armudaq, Meyaneh, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran) is an Iranian news reporter and journalist worked for different news agencies and newspapers. He used to work for the Young Journalists Club (YJC) from Feb. 2013 to July 2015.[1] Before that, he worked for Mehr News Agency from July 2004 to March 2013. He started his career as a researcher of political affairs at Neda Institute for Scientific and Political Research in January 2000.[2][3] He was appointed as manager of Jaam-e Jam online June 21, 2015,[4] which is online edition of Jaam-e Jam (newspaper).

Amiri has in the past sparked controversy with his claims that the holocaust is an exaggeration by "revisionist historians". Stating that much fewer than the commonly agreed number of six million Jews were killed during the holocaust and that gas chambers were never used.[5][6]
