Hoodi Halt Railway Station (station code: HDIH) is an Indian Railways Train station located in Hoodi, Bangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka which is located about 38 km away from the Bangalore City railway station and serves Hoodi and Whitefield area.[1][2]
Demand
There was a sustained demand for stoppage at Hoodi from 2013 from commuters in the Whitefield area, Sustained campaigns were carried out through public forums and social media.[3][4]
Structure & Expansion
Hoodi Halt has two platforms, each running to 400m in length, shelters, lighting, benches and a booking office.[5]
Line
Hoodi Halt station is on the Bangalore-Chennai main line. The railway station is located between Krishnarajapuram railway station and Whitefield railway station.
