"Holla at Your Boy" is a song by Nigerian Afrobeat recording artist Wizkid.[2] It was officially released on January 2, 2010. The song was produced by DJ Klem (Knighthouse) and Vebee. It is the first single from his debut album, Superstar (2011).
Music video
The music video for the single, directed by Patrick Ellis,[3] was shot at Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos. Skales and Ice Prince made cameo appearances in the video[4]
Accolades
The song earned Wizkid the Next Rated award at The Headies 2011.[5] The music video for "Holla at Your Boy" was nominated for Most Gifted Newcomer Video at the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards.[6] The music video was also nominated for Best Afro Pop Video at the 2011 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA).[7]
