Hitoshi Sogahata (曽ヶ端準 Sogahata Hitoshi, born August 2, 1979) is a Japanese football player who has been playing for Kashima Antlers for nineteen years straight, which amount to his entire career so far.[1]
National team career
In August 2004, Sogahata was elected Japan U-23 national team as over aged for 2004 Summer Olympics. At this tournament, he played full time in all 3 matches. Japan exited in the first round, having finished fourth in group B, below group winners Paraguay, Italy and Ghana.[2] He is a product of the Antlers youth system.
