Hippotion dexippus is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from dry areas in eastern Kenya.[2]

It is very similar to Hippotion rosae, but the antennae are grey, the colour is slightly more ochreous and the dark markings are slightly better developed. It is usually smaller than H. rosae, with a forewing length of 34–36 mm.
