The Him Too movement (or #HimToo movement), is a movement against false rape allegations.[1] #HiToo spread virally in October 2018 after a tweet from a mother about her son for false rape allegation.[2]

History

The #HimToo movement came as part of the backlash to the #MeToo movement. An US mother tweeted about her son on tweeter with this hash tag. She claimed that her son Pieter Hanson is afraid to go on dates because of false rape allegations.[3]

Purpose

The original purpose of "Me Too" was to stand before the radical feminists & false sexual accusations.[4]

Awareness and empathy

Men are coming out with their own stories about sexual harassment as part of the #MeToo movement.

Media coverage

After the hash tag #HimToo got viral on twitter there has been widespread discussion about the movement and allegation worldwide caused by Me Too movement.[5]
