HiSET

HiSET stand for High School Equivalency Test.[1][2] Its a alternative to US HS diploma and the GED and TASC test.. The test was designed based on the OCTAE College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education.[3][4] It is governed by ETS and test is provided in cooperation with relevant authority of the state or territories.[5][4]

School droppers and adults in the United States and its territories, who couldn't graduate from a high school; can earn a high school equivalency (HSE) credential with the HISET test.[2] Candidate need to demonstrate that they have the same skills and knowledge as a high school graduate. After passing the test, candidates state or jurisdiction issues a high school equivalency certificate or high school equivalency diploma. [5][4]

Requirements

Each state or jurisdiction has its own testing requirements and policies. Fees and retesting rule some time vary, beside that, some state have minimum age limit or requirement of in state residency status. Some state require a candidate to take a preparation course before taking the exam.[6][4]
