Herb (stylized as HERB) is an American e-commerce medicinal cannabis company. It is one of the largest cannabis websites in the world, with over 5.3 million unique visitors per month and 2 billion video views annually.[1][2]

The company, which launched originally in 2006 as The Stoner's Cookbook was originally created in New Zealand in 2006 by Lucas Young and Daniel Crothers. It was later rebranded as Herb and acquired by Matt Gray, founder of Bitmaker Labs in 2015.[3] The company had announced $4.1 million in Series A funding in August 2017 by multiple venture capital firms, including Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Joe Montana's Liquid 2 Ventures and Shopify CEO and COO Tobi Lutke and Harley Finkelstein.[4]
