Henry Edimar Hernández Cruz (born January 4, 1985 in San Salvador, El Salvador) is a Salvadoran professional goalkeeper.[7][8][9][10]

Club career

He started his career at Atlético Marte, before joining Águila with whom he would stay for four years.

He left them for Luis Ángel Firpo for whom he played in the 2008–09 CONCACAF Champions League Group Stage.[11]

Hernández played for Alianza after signing a two-year contract with the club starting in the Clausura 2011 tournament, and after a successful season with Atlético Balboa.[12]

He signed for Dragón in the Apertura 2016 season.

He signed for Sonsonate for the Clausura 2018 tournament.[13]

He joined for Chalatenango the Apertura 2018 tournament.

International career

Hernández played for his country at different age levels and made his senior debut for El Salvador in an October 2007 friendly match against Costa Rica, coming on as a second-half substitute for Juan José Gómez. He has, by June 2011, earned 4 caps, scoring no goals. He was a non-playing squad member at the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
