Henry Blackburn

Henry Blackburn (18301897) was a British art critic. He edited a number of illustrated guidebooks to the major annual exhibitions in late nineteenth-century London, such as Academy Notes (187596) and Grosvenor Notes (187782). The former series which had "originated and long conducted by the late Mr. Henry Blackburn" continued after his death.[1]
