Henrik Rydström (born 16 February 1976) is a Swedish former professional footballer, who played for, since 1993, and captained, Kalmar FF. He currently plays for amateur club Hossmo BK and is also the assistant manager of Kalmar FF.[1]

He is currently the sixth longest serving player in the world when it comes to playing for the same club.[2]

Career

Henrik Rydström is the club recordholder in most games played for Kalmar FF with 802 games.[3] Just before the start of the 2014 season, it was announced that Rydström joined IFK Berga. A lower division team in the city Kalmar with the sole purpose of being a "backup" to the regular players in the team.[4]
