Helena Waithera is a Kenyan actress known for her role in soap opera, Tabasamu.

She is most notable for playing villainous roles in several TV series.

Early life

Helena Waithera is a Kenyan actress who won best Lead Actress 2017 for her Lead role in "Uriru Wa Wendo" a Kikuyu TV series Screening on Inooro TV. Helena made her debut on TV playing the lead role of "Gabby" In the TV series "Tabasamu" which saw her nominated for best actress in a TV series at the chaguo la teeniez awards in 2011. She studied Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Nairobi.

Career

Hellen made her debut on TV playing the main role of Milka a girl orphaned by HIV in the TV series Heartbeat fm. In 2010, she joined the cast of then hit television series, Tabasamu as Gabby, a savage hot tempered young rich girl.

She also featured in an investigative series Maisha on K24. She played the role of eve, an investigative journalist who was out to get to the bottom of the kidnapping of a girl.In 2014, she went on to feature in the series Jane and Abel by Spielworks media. She plays the role of Lucy Abel's girlfriend. [1] She then went on to play the main role of Deka in the 26episode series Sweetest Taboo. In 2014 Helen sort to play the main role of Anita in a Kikuyu Television Series Uriru Wa Wendo on Inooro TV.
