Helen Mary Laird OBE, DL (14 April 1931 – ) was a Scottish biophysicist served as the President of the World Committee of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from 1981 to 1984.

In 1985, Laird was awarded the 180th Bronze Wolf, the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting.[2]
