Heather Lyke is the athletic director at the University of Pittsburgh. She was previously the athletic director and vice president at Eastern Michigan University, and has also served in administrative roles at Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati.
Career
During her tenure at Eastern Michigan University, Lyke oversaw significant growth in EMU's athletic programs. In addition to winning seventeen MAC titles in various sports, the Eagles football team built a new football stadium and was invited to a bowl game, the first for the school in many years, under head coach Chris Creighton. She also increased athletic donations by 51 percent.[1]
She was announced as the new athletic director for the University of Pittsburgh in March 2017[2] following the departure of Scott Barnes.
