Healthy Harold

Healthy Harold is a giraffe mascot used by Life Education Australia to teach children healthy living.[1]

Healthy Harold was defunded by the Federal Minister for education Simon Birmingham, in May 2017. Birmingham later reversed the decision, keeping the scheme active throughout Australian schools.[2]

Life Education and Healthy Harold as their mascot reached 300,000 Australian children in 2014 by visiting schools and giving lectures about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse and unhealthy eating.[3]
